02 / The creative approach
An ear for the song. An instinct for the story.
The unexpected discovery. The familiar song that suddenly means something different. The score that knows when to move forward and when to leave space. Jason brings deep musical knowledge and a filmmaker’s sensitivity to finding what belongs in the picture.
His background spans artist development, records, soundtracks, and more than 100 productions across film, television, and games. That experience informs the search, but the story always leads.
03 / The trust factor
He’s been on your side of the table.
Before founding Sound Advice, Jason founded and served as President of the music departments at both Relativity Media and STX Entertainment. He built the teams, oversaw the full music process, and carried responsibility for the creative, the budget, and the delivery.
He understands what producers and studio executives need from a music supervisor because he has been responsible for those same outcomes. Clear communication. Honest answers. Thoughtful solutions. And someone who follows the details all the way through.
Creative conviction. Practical judgment. Follow-through.
